From live music and DJs, to art openings or movies, the Belmont is constantly playing host to a full array of events you’ll want on your calendar. Art
Art With a View, our on-going contemporary art series, can be seen daily on the walls of BarBelmont and the hotel lobby. Working within various media, these veteran and rising local talents bring a little bit of our acclaimed view inside, with a twist. Every six weeks a new installation by a featured artist or group is kicked off with an opening party Belmont style – hob-nob with creative types, sip a signature cocktail and experience the works our talented, local artists have created. Stop by any day to enjoy the views BarBelmont has to offer, both inside and out.
Music
A virtual smorgasbord for eyes and ears alike – great music and spectacular skyline views, integrated into one profound experience.
Barefoot: Our Barefoot concert series takes place poolside, beginning the first Thursday in May. We’ve taken the popular series to a new level this year, partnering with KXT 91.7 along with the Texas Theatre and Smoke to bring you what we unabashedly think is the best Barefoot series yet! Go ahead and mark your calendar right now for the first and third Thursday each month through August 5th – we know you won’t want to miss out.
Pool Parties: End your weekend right with our Sunday pool parties, starting in May. While some of Dallas’ best DJs spin on the upper deck, enjoy hanging out in the pool or find a place on the green to get a little one-on-one time with the sun before it sets and the work week begins!
BarBelmont: Weekends, starting in May, experience some of the best locally grown musicians al fresco. Whether it’s acoustic melodies or infectious turntable beats, BarBelmont’s patio performances set the tone for a great night out.
Smoke: You never know who might stop in and play on any given night! Keep up with impromptu shows by becoming a fan of Smoke Restaurant Dallas on Facebook.
Movies
Corgan MediaLab continues to be our partner for our phenomenal Dive-In Movie Series. Whether its date night or Family night, join us for our free movies, poolside, every other Thursday, beginning in May. Lie back on the grass, relax and enjoy the film. Shoes are optional.
