Hello all -
This will be my last post here on the Belmont Newsletter - We have a new GM - Susan Alarcon. Susan comes to us from Whole Foods Market where she has worked for the past 18 years. We are so excited to have her here at the Belmont. Next time you are in say hello. I will be in Dallas for another month assisting Susan during her transition and I'm very grateful for the time I have spent here. The Belmont is a blast! I am happy to consider this my home away from home. Besides the Belmont Hotel, Dallas has so much to offer: One of my favorites is Lee Harvey's - http://leeharveys.com - It just feels like home.

Belmont Health Club Philosophy: NUTRITION
No matter how much time is spent in exercise, optimum health calls for attention to what goes into our bodies as well. None of us would put the wrong type of fuel (or weak, watered-down fuel) into our automobiles. How much more important are our bodies? The body uses nutrients to rebuild, renew and replenish itself. You truly become what you eat. One approach to nutrition is simply to pay attention to what you eat. Read labels. If you can't pronounce it, don't put it into your body. If it wasn't available 200 years ago, don't eat it. Eat the freshest food with the least chemicals possible. At the health club we also emphasize metabolic typing. Each individual is unique. No diet works for everyone. Some of us need a greater percentage of fats and proteins, while others thrive on more carbohydrates. Finding the right combination for yourself enables you to have more energy without starving yourself.
Eat well to live well!
